Changes Coming by Susan Sinyai

Stop by our 8 Medical Park Drive office for a few moments and see beautiful landscapes rendered by Artist Susan Sinyai.  Ms. Sinyai explores color, texture and light in the pastel and oil painting mediums.  In her early career she was focused on portraiture, but was drawn to the natural landscape’s transcendent beauty and the enchanting effects of light to evoke mood and memories.  Read more

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIf you’ve not been to our 8 Medical Park Drive office lately we hope you’ll stop by when you’re in the area to check out our “Gallery”  in the main lobby, whose natural light creates an ideal viewing environment.  Come and spend a few moments enjoying the beauty of some fabulous works by local WNC artists.  You might discover an artist you’re not yet familiar with, or even find a piece you want to take home with you – all art is available for sale!  This June our  partnership with local WNC artists who exhibit their work at this location continues with three new guest artists .   We’re very excited to feature the art of Susan Meyer Sinyai, Mary Farmer and Josephine Pratt in this new installation.  Read more

Congrats to AEA’s Robert E. Wiggins, Jr., MD and Denise Fridl (COT, COE, OCS).  Their article “How To Create an ophthalmic Culture of Excellence”  was featured in the May/June 2014 issue of Ophthalmic Professional Magazine.

AEA announces the 2nd Annual Run the Forest 5K and Fitness Event October 4, 2014

AEA’s 2nd Annual Run the Forest 5K and Fitness Event is a community wellness event to benefit the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc., a 501 © (3) nonprofit which relies on donations to operate. All the services of the Guide Dog Foundation are offered free of charge to people with disabilities.  The Foundation’s Guide Dogs include Rudy who started his puppy training here in Asheville with AEA’s Dr. Jeff Goldstein’s family.   Rudy successfully completed the Foundation’s program and now navigates his human team mate safely around the crowded streets of Manhattan.
