Chelsea L. Reighard, M.D.

Dr. Chelsea Reighard is board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in full-spectrum pediatric eye care, retinopathy of prematurity, and complex adult strabismus (eye alignment disorders). She completed her residency in ophthalmology and her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Kellogg Eye Center (University of Michigan). She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a competitive NIH T32 Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. She worked as a secondary school teacher in New York City for four years before medical school and concurrently earned an M.S. in Education from the Bank Street College of Education.

Dr. Reighard is a native of South Carolina and is thrilled to return to the Carolinas to care for patients of all ages, from premature infants to adults in their golden years.
