IPL Laser Treatment

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment that uses pulses of light energy to target both ocular and cosmetic concerns. Originally developed for dermatology and skin rejuvenation, IPL has been clinically proven to provide relief for patients suffering from dry eye disease, particularly when caused by meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). Since joining Asheville Eye Associates in 2020, Yamilet has developed a strong foundation in patient care, beginning in ophthalmology before pursuing her passion for skincare and esthetics.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she moved to Western North Carolina at the age of 12 and has called the area home ever since. Her interest in skincare began with a personal curiosity about products, treatments, and skin health, which eventually inspired her to pursue a career in esthetics.

With a background in customer service and patient care, she believes in building genuine connections and creating an environment where every patient feels comfortable, heard, and understood. She is passionate about taking the time to understand each individual’s skin concerns, providing personalized care, and helping patients achieve noticeable results while feeling confident in their own skin.

Family-oriented and raised with a strong work ethic, she values dedication, continuous learning, and taking pride in everything she does. These values carry into her approach to patient care, where she strives to make every experience positive and meaningful.

Fluent in English and Spanish, she enjoys connecting with patients from different backgrounds. Outside of work, she loves drawing, listening to music, exploring different foods and cuisines, and spending quality time with family.
