We’re excited to welcome local artist Richard Scott to our 8 Medical Park Drive office’s “Asheville Eye on the Arts” gallery. Richard’s incredible nature photographs include beautiful images of the Blue Ridge Mountains and local waterfalls to western scenes including the Grand Tetons, Canyonlands, Yellowstone National Park, and other National Parks and Forests.
Richard’s interest in photography began at age twelve while looking through a National Geographic. He received his first camera as a freshman in high school and combined his love for nature with his new photography hobby. In time, he developed the self taught technique he uses today.
His photographs have been published by calender & postcard companies as well as displayed in galleries & visitor centers. Richard’s portfolio offers a glimpse of the pristine beauty and splendor found in our National and State parks across the country.
